IAF's relief operations on

The Indian Air Force (IAF) that continued to assist in flood relief operations in North-East Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday, flew one Mi-8 helicopter of the Central Air Command from Kurnool that carried about 13.7 tonnes of relief material, assisted by another Mi-8 from South Western Air Command that dropped 7.6 tonnes of relief material.
Two Chetaks from Hyderabad, also flew over Kurnool for 6 hours and 20 minutes and dropped one tonne of relief material. Another Mi-8 flew from Bangalore carrying Chief minister, B S Yeddyurappa and a team of officials.
