Prof G R Nayak has been appointed the in-charge vice-chancellor of Gulbarga University. Karnataka Governor K Rosaiah has issued directions in this regard.
Terms of the university’s Vice-Chancellor Prof E T Puttaiah and in-charge V-C Prof S S Patil ended on July 2 and July 15 respectively.
Until a full-time vice-chancellor is appointed, Prof Nayak, who works in the university’s faculty of science and technology, will be in charge.
