The details are required for payment of allowances and emoluments to deceased members.
The government is considering payment of allowances to the family members of deceased representatives who were MLAs after 1952, according to a press relesae issued here by the Additional Deputy Commissioner.

The details include the number of dependents, the death certificate, last drawn allowance, genealogy and a certificate testifying that the wife of the deceased representative has not remarried.

The information is required to determine the quantum of funds to be earmarked. The details could be sent to Principal Secretary, Karnataka Secretariat, Post Box No. 5074, First Floor, Vidhana Soudha, Bangalore-01, added the press release.
