Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Monday presented the state Budget that included some major announcements.

The CM announced a number of infrastructure and development projects, in addition to allocation of Rs 31,028 crore to agriculture and allied sectors.

One of the key highlights of the state Budget is the government not levying any new tax, which came as a big relief for the commoners.

Another announcement that grabbed much attention is the inclusion of "gaushala" in all the districts across the state to prevent "laughter of cows and to conserve livestock".
