The commission, which is investigating the matter related to building of the post-graduate centre, will be headed by Dr Ramakrishna.

A team of engineers working for the University left for the venue of the building on January 25, as instructed by the vice-chancellor, who considered the delay to be a serious lapse in performance of duty. A team comprising the University chief engineer Puttaswamy, assistant executive engineer Chandrashekhar, assistant engineer Raju, technical committee president Ramesh and member Guruprasad has already visited the spot and collected information on the matter, said official sources.

The Deccan Herald had carried a story on January 8 on the work on the Bangalore University building having come to a standstill.
