Deputy Commissioner N Prabhakar will inaugurate the student-scientist interaction programme at 10 am. Principal Dr M B Sanikoppa will preside over the programme in which in-charge Deputy Director Puttamadaiah, Deputy Director of Public Instruction Prahlada Gowda will be the chief guests. Scientists, C M Chandrashekhar and Prajwal Shastry will interact with the students.
Karnataka Science Council president Niranjanaradhya will deliver the valedictory address on Dec 9. Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer G V Ranga Rao, Block Education Officers K S Nagaraja Gowda, G Venkatarama Reddy, C H Victor, S V Padmanabha, K Jairaj and Krishnamurthy will be the chief guests. Scientists Prof N Suryaprakash and H L Bhat will interact with the students.
More than 400 students, 100 teachers and 50 lecturers of the district are taking part in the programme, the district coordinator of Science Council Manjula Bheemarao said in a press release.
