He was speaking at the books distribution programme organised by the Touch Organisation at Government High School in Addagal in Chikkaballapur. “Positive changes in a society is possible if the youth become part of the development work,” he added.
The youth should not fall prey to bad habits. Instead they should channelise their energy to do constructive work or should encourage others in achieveing their goals. Only then equality can be established in the society, Gowda said and added that one should bring laurel to the state and country by their deeds.
Apart from books sports materials, a computer, furniture and others were donated to the school.
Touch Organisation’s president Vishwas Shetty, Chikkaballapur Block Congress Committee president T Varadaraju, HOPCOMS vice-president G R Srinivasan and others were present.
