The tusks had been hidden in a tobacco barn in Annur, H D Kote taluk. Siddegowda (56) of the same village has been arrested on charges of storing them. Acting on a tip off, the sleuths raided the barn.
Both tusks weigh between 28 and 30 kgs; while one is 101 cxm long, the other is 141 cm long.
However, sleuths are yet to retrieve information about where Siddegowda got the tusks from. Siddegowda has been handed over to H D Kote police.
