The officials are ready to evict encroachment in Amrith Mahal Kaval at Tarikere, Kadur and Chikmagalur taluks. However, those farmers who are cultivating in the land should not be evicted at any cost. Evicting 4,000 families at a time is incorrect, he added. Revenue, survey and animal husbandry department officials must conduct a joint survey on the encroachments before undertaking the eviction drive.
