Janata Dal (Secular) State wing president H D Kumaraswamy said that the names of the candidates of JD(S) for the coming legislative elections will be announced at the end of November.
Addressing the gathering in the programme organised to induct ex-MLA G B Shivakumar to the party on Saturday, he said, the list of candidates will be finalised in the meeting organised at the end of the month headed by ex-prime minister H D Deve Gowda. It would be announced only after discussion with party members and office bearers.
He ridiculed ex-chief minister B S Yeddyurappa for conducting convention at Haveri where the police firing on farmers was done.
MLAs C S Puttaraju, M Srinivas and Kalpana Siddaraju, ex MLC K T Srikante Gowda and others were present at the ceremony.
