Jindal assures power at lowest price

In a closed door meeting held at the Chief Minister’s home office ‘Krishna,’ Jindal is learnt to have said that the Company has 625 mega watt of surplus captive power. It will accord priority to the State while selling power.

Presently, the Company is selling the surplus power outside the State.

Power crisis

Karnataka is facing a severe power shortage. Hence, the Government has announced loadshedding across the State, including Bangalore.

Recently, it announced to go for power purchase to cope with the situation.
Besides, Jindal learnt to have requested Yeddyurappa to help the Company to procure adequate quantity of iron ore for the JSW Plant in Bellary.

Later, Chairman and Managing Director of L&T A M Naik met Yeddyurappa and held discussions over the company’s projects in the State.
