Bengaluru: The Department of Higher Education has issued an order constituting a committee to review the State Education Policy (SEP) Commission report.

The committee, headed by the principal secretary of the Higher Education department, comprises vice chairman of Karnataka State Higher Education Council, commissioner of Collegiate and Technical Education department, director of Technical Education. The special officer of the Higher Education department will be the member-secretary.

The committee was formed three months after the submission of the final report to the Chief Minister by the SEP commission, led by Prof Sukhadeo Thorat. The review committee has to submit a report within two weeks. The same will be placed before the Cabinet for further action, the order stated.
