Karnataka High Court directed, Sudhir Reddy,  husband of the lady IAS officer to file their contentions following Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's statement on the floor of the house not to divulge the CID's interim report .

The bench asked if the petition still holds good as the government has decided to hand over the matter to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Two sealed envelopes containing the material that were gathered from the petitioner's wife's phone were submitted to the court. The matter is adjourned to Tuesday.

Today Chief Minister decided to hand over the probe into the mysterious death of  an IAS officer, DK Ravi, to the CBI  that had led to national outrage and state-wide protests.
