Panchamasali Lingayat community staged a protest at Hirebagewadi, Belagavi on December 22. The community protested and demanded 2A reservation from the government. The protest march was organised by Jagadguru Basava Jaya Mruthyunjaya Swamiji of the Kundalasangama Peetha. The Panchmasali Yatra was organised form Hirebagewadi to Suvarnasoudha.
