KAT stays lecturers' recruitment process

The Karnataka Administrative Tribunal (KAT) has stayed the process of recruiting history and political science lecturers for the vacant post in government degree colleges.
Following objections raised by some candidates about the selection of candidates with MPhil degrees obtained from distance education centres, KAT Chairman Shrinivas Reddy issued the stay order here on Monday.
Two applications were submitted by Rajendra and others have questioned the recruitment for 175 political science lecturers posts, while Raveendranath and others have questioned the recruitment for 80 history lecturers posts.
