Bengaluru: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has published the syllabus for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 on its website.
Following the confusion over the syllabus during KCET 2024 as there were out syllabus questions in most of the subjects, the KEA was forced to keep out of syllabus questions away from the evaluation. There were questions even from the second PUC syllabus deleted by the NCERT.
To prevent such confusion, the Authority has decided to publish the syllabus.
A communique, released by the KEA, said that the syllabus has been released in association with the Department of Pre-University Education.
"The syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology subjects has been released," KEA Executive Director Prasanna H said in the communique.
The KEA has advised the candidates appearing for KCET 2025 to refer to the syllabus published and prepare for the test.
"The syllabus was designed based on the NCERT curriculum and the textbooks are prescribed by the department. It has been reviewed by the subject experts of the PU colleges," Prasanna said in the communique.
