<p>Bengaluru: The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 will be held on April 16 and 17. </p>.<p>Releasing the KCET 2025 schedule on Thursday, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) Executive Director Prasanna H said the Authority has introduced One-Time Password (OTP)-based registration for the first time to prevent fraudulent activities, like stealing credentials of the students to block seats.</p>.<p>Prasanna said the students have to enter their mobile number to get the OTP during the registration for the test. </p>.<p>“The application will be processed further only after entering the OTP,” he said.</p>.Law can't be changed for Prajwal Revanna: Karnataka HC while hearing plea in rape case.<p>Not just registration, the students will get OTP at every step in this year’s entrance test and seat allotment from this year, he added. </p>.<p>The KEA has made it clear to students and parents that there is no provision to change the mobile number they have provided during the registration until the KCET 2025 process is completed.</p>.<p>“The system allows registration of only one candidate with one mobile number. We will also send SMSs to students at every stage through their registered mobile number,” Prasanna mentioned. </p>.<p>From this year, the KEA has made provisions to apply for various professional courses in a single application form, even for Architecture, Nursing during the registration for the test etc.</p>.<p>The online application submission process will be open between January 23 and February 21. </p>.<p><strong>Automated Verification</strong></p>.<p>The caste/income certificates and 371(J) RD numbers entered by candidates will automatically fetch reservation details.</p>.<p>The academic records will be fetched through the Student Achievement Tracking System (SATS).</p>.<p><strong>Claims Certificate Download</strong> </p>.<p>Candidates will be allowed to download claims certificates. If marked as “Successfully Verified”, they do not have to visit any office for document verification.</p>.<p class="bodytext">After the announcement of the results, they can download a verification slip. For those marked as “Claims Verified”, “Claims Not Verified” or “Not Claimed” must submit the application form along with original and supporting documents to their respective colleges for verification. The college principal will cross-verify and approve the details. The KEA will provide login credentials to all PU colleges in the state for document verification. </p>
