The Forest Department on Thursday captured the suspected man-eater tiger that had killed three persons in the last few days in Mysore district.

A team of experts tranquilised, netted and caged the tiger after the animal was spotted near a valley early afternoon, 100 metres from the area where it had left its third human victim. The feline, with an injured front paw, porcupine thorns in its neck and belly, was produced before the angry people of Chikkabargi village.
