KJP youth leaders meet in Mysore on Sunday

A meeting of the youth leaders of Karnataka Janata Party (KJP), which former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa has proposed to float, will be held in Mysore on November 11.

Addressing presspersons here on Wednesday, Vasanth Kumar, an ABVP leader, said the meeting will be held at the Mysore office of Siddalingaswamy, the personal aide of Yeddyurappa.

Prior to the Mysore meeting, similar meetings would be held at T Narsipura and HD Kote on November 8, KR Nagar, Periyapatna and Hunsur on November 9, Varuna, Chamundeshwari, Krishnaraja, Chamaraja and Narasimharaja Assembly constituencies in Mysore on November 10, he said.

Vasanth Kumar said former Union minister V Dhananjaya Kumar, who was recently expelled from the BJP, is expected to be appointed the State president of the KJP, prior to the Mysore convention. He is likely to participate in the Mysore meeting.
