Mysuru: Following the failure of the Karnataka State Public Service Commission (KPSC) to provide proper question papers, hopes of thousands of youth is in jeopardy, said Mysore-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Krishnaraja Chamaraja Wadiyar.

Wadiyar said, the Congress-led Karnataka government has shattered the dreams of thousands of aspirants, by once again failing to provide proper question papers in Kannada, the official administrative language of the state.

The badly translated question papers and mismatch in OMR sheet numbers issued by the KPSC for the recruitment exam had created a controversy.

Recalling that the KPSC had to face severe criticism even in August, during the KAS exam, due to significant translation errors, sparking the outrage of the aspirants, Wadiyar said, the re-examination on Sunday witnessed yet another debacle - with translation errors and also mismatch in OMR sheet numbers - causing chaos, despite the delay in holding the re-exam.

“The Congress, which proudly proclaims to be the champion of ‘Kannada Pride’, has shattered the dreams of thousands of youth aspirants. The Congress-led government has failed not once, but twice, over just six months, to provide accurate and well-translated questions, in the state’s official language,” Wadiyar said.

“How many more times will this government crush the aspirations of job-seekers? Such repeated blunders are a glaring reflection of an administration plagued by irresponsibility and incompetence,” he said.
