Bengaluru: A division bench of the Karnataka High Court has dismissed the appeal challenging the single bench order declaring KN Shanth Kumar as valid candidate to contest the elections to the post of president of Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA).

A division bench comprising Chief Justice Vibhu Bakhru and Justice CM Poonacha rejected the appeal filed by Kalpana Venkatachar, who had withdrawn her candidature for the post of President of KSCA. The election is scheduled to be held on December 7.
