Dr Rai has tendered his resignation following an invitation from the University of Wurzburg and South Asia Study Centre to work as a visiting professor. The one-year assignment will start from October. Dr Rai’s new job profile is to prepare comprehensive report on ‘Karnataka Studies’ for the study centre. Dr Rai was with KSOU for the two years and three months.
