KSRTC bus topples in Chamundi Hill on Thursday evening.

Mysuru: A KSRTC bus moving from Mysuru City bus stand to Chamundi Hill overturned at a curve near the view point of the hill around 4 pm on Thursday. The bus fell on the road parallel to it after hitting divider.
Miraculously none of the nine passengers or driver suffered any major injuries. One person who was injured was treated on OPD basis and sent home, police said.
KSRTC Urban DC, H T Veeresh who rushed to the spot said that the incident occurred due to rash and negligent driving of driver while over taking a vehicle.
The driver, Mallikarjun, has 20 years of experience driving to Chamundi Hill. It was a new bus (number KA-09 F 5584) which they got in June 2024. There have been damages to the bus which can be repaired, Veeresh said.
Siddarthanagar traffic police have registered a case in the matter.
