JD(S) leader K S Rangappa on Friday exuded confidence that JD(S) party will win the general elections and the party state president H D Kumaraswamy will be the next chief minister of Karnataka.

Addressing media here he said, "Kumaraswamy has a vision for the development of the state and had even toured foreign countries to study about farmers way of cultivation and waste management. Kumaraswamy has chalked out programmes for the welfare of farmers and to create employment opportunities for the youths. He will change the history of Karnataka."

Replying to a query on his candidature for the Chamaraja Assembly segment from the JD(S), Rangappa said, the party leaders will decide on the candidate. "I will work for the party and support the candidate announced by the party," he added.
