The Karnataka High Court on Tuesday issued a notice to principal secretary to the co-operative department in connection with the writ petition seeking the appointment of an administrator to Pradesha Kurubara Sangha.
Justice B Veerappa was hearing a writ petition filed by M Krishna Murthy, a resident of Wilson Garden, Bengaluru.
The petitioner contended that the tenure of the board management ended in November 2018 and the deputy registrar of cooperative societies declared election on October 20, 2019. However, the City Civil Court has passed interim order staying election proceedings so that an administrator can be appointed until elections are held.
