A day after quitting as KPCC vice-president for being denied the ticket from Kolar Assembly constituency, Congress leader V R Sudarshan on Sunday said that he would take a suitable decision about his next move in consultation with his supporters.

Speaking to reporters he said: “I am hurt as I haven’t been given the ticket.

The report finalised by poll observers after consulting ministers, MP and local leaders was discussed twice in election committee meeting. When it came before the central committee, my name and that of Nissar Ahmed were ignored, while an outsider was chosen,” he charged.

“Srinivas Gowda, who joined the Congress in 2004 and quit in 2008, is not even a party member. He wants a ticket.

“What is the value of my seniority if Zameer, a resident of Magadi, is given the party’s ticket? Should I be the vice-president for all this?” he questioned.

“Decisions taken due to lack of coordination between Health Minister Ramesh Kumar and MP K H Muniyappa are destroying the party when it is facing the most crucial election, “ he said.
