As much as 50 per cent of the land money will be given as financial aid while the other 50 per cent will be loan. The beneficiary has to repay the loan in installment basis in a span of 10 years. Those who sell their land must not be belonging to SC/STs.
The land owned by the beneficiaries should not be located at a distance more than 5 km from their house. The land should be suitable for agriculture. Eligible can send application forms to District Manger, Dr B R Ambedkar Development Board, Madikeri, The last date for submitting application form is May 25.
The beneficiaries must be belonging to SC/ST category. They should be the residents of Karnataka at least for the last 15 years. The annual income must not exceed Rs 22,000. They should be aged between 18-60. The applicants has to submit a photograph, two copies of ration card, income certificate, agriculture labour letter and other records, informed a press release.
