Popular Kannada playback singer Rajesh Krishnan and troupe enthralled the audience with their peppy songs at Chavandaraya Sabha Mantap as part of Mahamastakabhisheka on Saturday evening. The audience too enthusiastically danced to the beats of a few songs.
International artist Vilas Nayak received a huge applause for his on-the-spot painting. He painted pictures of Bhagwan Bahubali, Ganesha and seer Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Swami.
Sufi artiste of Rajasthan Meer Muktiyar and troupe presented sufi songs. Sarvesh Jain and Sowmya Jain sung songs on Bahubali. The main attraction of the evening was a laser show on Jainakashi Shravanabelagola, Mahamastakabhisheka, highlighting the culture, literature, music and sculptures of Karnataka, as organised by Information and Kannada and Culture department.
