The maiden meeting of the Bengaluru Metropolitan Planning Committee (BMPC) will be held two and half years after its formation at Vidhana Soudha on Wednesday.
For the first time since its inception on January 8, 2014, the BMPC will get its chairperson in the maiden meeting on June 1. The meeting will also discuss resource mobilisation, infrastructure and manpower to set up the BMPC.
The BMPC has 88 members including the chief minister, Bengaluru ministers, members of Parliament, Legislative Assembly and Council from Bengaluru, 18 Bengaluru corporators including mayor among others.
