Presiding over a Janaspandana programme at Jagara hobli on Saturday, he said that several public works including development of check dams and irrigation canals can be taken up using NREGS fund. The scheme benefits also can be utilised for personal purposes, he added. Ravi said that tender has been invited to develop the road between Kaimara and Nathichouka at a cost of Rs 8.5 crore.
