Akshat Mudbidri, the complainant, stated in the complaint that the contract to bring the artistes to Pilikula Golf Club was given to him by the accused Harsh Rao for 10,000 Euro.
He said that Rao had paid 3,963 Euro directly to the Akcent Group and another payment of 2,300 Euro (approximately Rs 1.5 lakh) was made through cheque on December 11 (on the day of the event), the complainant added.
Further, Akshat alleged that Rao had threatened him when he demanded the rest of the amount at the venue. As Rao promised to pay the money later, the show continued.
However, the cheque for Rs 1.5 lakh was dishonoured and the balance payment has not been made till date, Akshat alleged and added that Rao has been claiming to be a relative of minister.
