Mangaluru: The man who had confessed to burying bodies in Dharmasthala appeared before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) members at PWD's Inspection Bungalow (IB) in Mallikatte on Saturday.

The man covering his head with a mask and accompanied by his two advocates had reached the IB with the help of a taxi around 11 am.

For over eight hours the SIT led by Additional Commissioner of Police (Recruitment) M N Anucheth and Superintendent of Police (Internal Security Division) Jitendra Kumar Dayama recorded his statements.

SIT officials and the advocates accompanying the complainant refused to make any statements to mediapersons. The man and his advocates left in the same taxi at 7:15 pm.
