SIT takes possession of documents related to Dharmasthala mass burial case

Mangaluru: A team of SIT members led by Superintendent of Police (Internal Security Division) Jitendra Kumar Dayama, DySP Lokesh visited Dharmasthala and held discussions on mass burial case with police personnel in Dharmasthala police station on Friday night.

Later SIT team received all documents related to the case from Dharmasthala police station Sub Inspector Ganigera before exiting from the place. The interrogation of the whistleblower at the PWD IB began in the presence of Additional Commissioner of Police (Recruitment) M N Anucheth on Saturday.

SIT members are likely to make another visit to Dharmasthala police station on Sunday, according to sources.
