The Customs officials arrested a passenger and seized gold worth Rs 25,45,920 at Mangalore International Airport (MIA).
The passenger had arrived from Dubai on Air India Express flight and the gold was concealed inside the heating element of an electric rice cooker. The arrested is Sumesh from Kasargod. The officials produced him before the magistrate, said officials from Customs
