Hassan: The Mangaluru CCB police have arrested a man in connection with the murder of Hindu activist Suhas Shetty in the city on Thursday.
Naushad alias Shote Naushad, 30, a native of Mangaluru, is the arrested accused. Naushad was running a hotel near the women's police station in the city. He was living in a rented house at K R Puram. He has been arrested on the charge that he was aiding and abetting the murder of Suhas Shetty.
Along with the hotel, Naushad also had a juice centre. It is said that many of his customers were from Mangaluru and Kerala. He closed the hotel after the murder, it is said.
