<p>Mangaluru: Demanding that the investigation into Suhas Shetty murder case be handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal have planned a state-wide public campaign. Bajrang Dal national convener Neeraj Douneriya stated that a campaign will be held in Mangaluru on May 20.</p><p>Speaking at a press conference in Puttur, he said that Suhas Shetty’s murder was carried out in a premeditated manner, targeting Hindus in a way similar to how attacks on Hindus are executed in Jammu and Kashmir, with the intent of creating an atmosphere of fear among Hindus and disrupting religious security. He emphasised that the investigation should be transferred to the NIA without succumbing to any political pressure.</p><p>He added that Suhas Shetty’s parents, Mohan Shetty and Sulochana Shetty, have themselves submitted a request to the Governor seeking an NIA probe.</p>.Police identify 2 individuals for posting provocative, content on social media with regard to Suhas Shetty's murder.<p>Accusing political involvement behind the murder, he questioned why no elected representatives from the government have visited the family even as a courtesy. He pointed out that the government has not provided any financial support to the family. </p><p>Meanwhile, he noted that though the police claim to have arrested the accused, we have doubts over whether the real culprits are behind bars. He contrasted this with the state government's grant of Rs 25 lakh in financial aid to the family of Fazil, implying that the Congress-led government is biased in favour of the Muslim community while neglecting the murder of Suhas Shetty, who was reportedly involved in cow protection.</p><p>Bajrang Dal Karnataka South regional convener Prabhanjan Surya asserted that their organisation will not bow to threats. </p>
