During the visit, the minister held a meeting with the company’s senior executives and deliberated on BEML’s business plans with emphasis on its defence segment.
The minister reviewed the business of the company relating to defence, mining and
construction, rail and metro and also new businesses of aerospace and dredging which the company forayed into recently.
The minister appreciated the performance of BEML and its efforts of diversification and assured all out support including orders for defence business.
Earlier, BEML’s Chairman and Managing Director VRS Natarajan welcomed Raju on his arrival to the company’s headquarters. All the Directors were present on the occasion.
