Two days after Speaker Kagodu Thimmappa’s outburst against the State government, the ministers in the Siddaramaiah Cabinet are slowly reacting.

The chief minister on Wednesday had refused to be drawn into a debate on Kagodu lashing out at the State government for its lack of transparency and effective governance.

On Thursday, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister H K Patil said the government was ready to attend to all issues raised by Kagodu.

“The chief minister is also taking all measures to ensure that the government is always active,” he said.

Social Welfare Minister H Anjaneya said he was not aware of the context in which Kagodu spoke, but steps were being taken, at least in his department, that all petitions, complaints from the public, were attended to without delay.
