'Ministry reshuffle after session'

A day after the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting, KPCC president G Parame shwara on Thursday said reshuffling of the State Council of ministers will be done after the Legislature session, scheduled for June 23.

Speaking to reporters, he said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and himself will soon hold a meeting with the party high command in this regard. The decision on filling up vacancies in the Council of ministry will be taken by the high command.

When asked about the demand for making him the deputy chief minister, Parameshwara said the decision of the high command was final in this regard and that he would abide by it. 

On the dissatisfaction expressed by some of the party leaders on the nominations to the Legislative Council, he said the chief minister had complete information in this regard. He has shortlisted able candidates.
