According to the supervisor of the works, all the labourers were fast asleep when the incident took palce. The armed miscreants threatened Supervisor Ali, Ashraf and Hasan and decamped with the cash. The miscreants were speaking in Kannada and Malayalam. SP Manjunath Annigeri, DySP Annappa Nayak and others have visited the spot. Two teams have been formed to crack the case.

Three persons were injured in a collision between van and bus at Arameri. The injured are Ponnamma, Poovamma and Ponnanna.
