Missing fisherman's kin run from pillar to post

The seven family members of Narayana who have come all the way from Koppal district and have landed up in the city, have nowhere to go. They are in the city for last three days and are meting every possible official and elected rep to put forth their plea. On Saturday, they were present at Alive Bagilu where District-in-Charge Minister Krishna J Palemar and MLA N Yogish Bhat paid a visit to converse with the leaders from fishing community.

Speaking to the media persons, uncle of Narayana, Renukaya Gowda said that they are left in lurch. “We need the dead body of our family member Narayana. His grief-stricken parents are waiting for him there in Koppal. Can’t we atleast get his dead body? Why so much of delay?” he asked.

Hailing from a poor family, all the seven who have made staying arrangementsin a lodge at State Bank, said that no one including the boat owner S M Ibrahim is responding to their request.  “If we ask Ibrahim, he says he himself is in problem and has incurred loss. Then how can he help us,” said Renukaya Gowda.
