Speaking to mediapersons, he criticised the remarks made by State BJP President K S Eshwarappa against Lokayukta Justice N Santosh Hegde. Creating blockades in the way of the investigation process of the Lokayukta was like disrespecting democracy. “Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa behaves as if he is a dictator,” he said.
He said mutt heads and seers should not try to safeguard a corrupt chief minister and government. “Seers should promote ‘dharma’ and maintain harmony. They should stay away from politics,” he added.
Moily admitted that the JD(S) was in the forefront of exposing the land scams of the BJP government in the State. Moily asked Congressmen to fine tune their strategies in waging a war against the “corrupt” BJP government. “Congress should support JD(S),” he added.
