The official website of Mysuru Palace (http://mysorepalace.gov.in/) has been suspended since last week in order to shift the server from a private service provider to the government.
The website is visited by thousands of tourists for information and provides a virtual tour of the Palace. The tourists can also book tickets online on the website. The Palace and its website are managed by the Palace Board. When one attempts to visit the website, it says ‘This account has been suspended’ and asks you to contact the hosting provider.
Deputy Director T S Subramanya said the process is on to shift the website to the government server of the National Informatics Centre.
