Congress leader and former minister Nafees Fazal has written to the State Election Commission seeking action against three officials for allegedly booking a false case against her.
In her complaint, Fazal said the three officials claiming to be observers for urban local bodies elections had behaved rudely with her after seizing Rs 1.63 lakh in cash from her hotel room in Bijapur on Thursday.
Personal purpose
Fazal said she had drawn the money from her personal bank account in Bangalore towards payment of advance for renting a house in Bijapur.
