The chief minister has already cleared BDA commissioner T Sham Bhatt’s name for the post of KPSC chairman. Bhatt’s name appears first in the proposal.

The government will soon recommend to Governor Vajubhai Valato appoint these officials to the KPSC. But it is left to the discretion of the governor whether to appoint them or not. The posts are vacant now. The proposals were cleared by Siddaramaiah on May 18.
