The direction by the NGT's southern zone bench comprising Justice Pushpa Sathyanarayana and expert member Prashanth Gargava comes in the wake of an appeal filed by the company challenging the closure order issued by the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB).
The studio located in Bidadi Industrial Area was told to shut operations after the KSPCB said that the studio was operating without prior consent from the Board and without proper treatment of the waste water generated on the premises.

In its submission, the company stated that following the closure order issued on October 6, 2025 for violation of the rules under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, "all deficiencies highlighted by the KSPCB have been rectified".

Further, the company's counsel stated that the Board has been informed through a letter on October 29 about the compliance and an inspection of the facility was requested for reconsideration of the matter.

The bench directed the KSPCB to inspect the premises and verify compliance as per the company's letter and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law at the earliest and "not beyond seven days" from November 21.
