Social Welfare Minister H Anjaneya on Wednesday refuted the accusation by his party’s MLA, P M Narendraswamy, that there are bedbugs in Bangalore University hostels.
The minister told reporters that though the issue didn’t come under his purview, he met the students recently and none of them complained about the problem. On Narendraswamy’s charge that rowdyism is rampant on the campus, Anjaneya promised action if the MLA gave a specific complaint. “If the MLA has any concern for students, he should try to find a solution.”
