Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa had recently said that he would write to the Prime Minister seeking the Centre’s intervention to resolve the dispute with Goa on Mahadayi project.
Speaking to reporters in the city on Sunday, Digambar Vasant Kamat said: “I too read about Yeddyurappa’s statements, but Goa government received no intimation neither from Centre nor from Karnataka about Yeddyurappa’s letter so far.”

Diganbar Kamat who was here to deliver Kateel Appu Pai memorial lecture and lay foundation stone for Manasa Kirana, a residential care unit for mentally retarded persons, refused to comment on the demand for the inclusion of Konkani-speaking areas in Uttara Kannada district to Goa.
He dismissed the issue saying: “It is an old issue and I don’t like to comment on the same.”
