Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday clarified that there was no proposal to advance the Karnataka Assembly elections.
This was a reaction to KPCC president D K Shivakumar’s claim that BJP leaders in Delhi had spoken to Bommai about early elections citing the Covid-19 pandemic.
Bommai ruled out any such talks with the Delhi leaders.
