new Delhi: Congress leader and MLC K N Rajendra on Saturday said he met Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently in Delhi regarding 'KRIBCO' (Krishak Bharati Cooperative Limited) chairman post election not for discuss political issue.
Rajendra, son of former Minister K N Rajanna told reporters here that " I am the member of KRIBCO. Since Amit Shah also holds Co-Operative Department portfolio, I met him regarding KRIBCO chairman election."
"I was just had a brief meeting which lasted for less than 10 minutes. He just asked what happening in Karnataka. I am a small person and first time MLC. Not much political issue was discussed as a section of media reported, " he said.
To a question on change of leadership, he said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah already clarified that he would present next two budget also. Deputy Chief Minister Shivakumar also said there is no issues regarding leadership. It is upto party high command to take a decision whether any change of leadership required now, he said.
